Taking a Moment

This plant is exciting to find growing on the Llano Estacado. It grows even with the lack of rains of the previous or current year. Due it being low growing, it is often hidden amongst other wildflowers that stand much taller.

If heaven had a smell it would be this plant – slightly peppery , subtle sweet fragrance.
